Jon, you are HA-larious. I know it's awful about your face, but I just couldn't help but laugh at the irony of it. Only us, right? You're so great. Keep plugging, man. See you in January.

Chaplin Fisher,
First I would like to say thank you for all you do. I started visting this site about three months ago -- you have such a good heart.

P.S.: Did you see the write up in the AJC.com blog?

I just wish I had a chance to visit or spend a bit of time with you, man. When you get back (after a month or so with your wife) we'll have to get together over a plate of Caroleen's biscuits and sausage gravy. I'll bet the thought of that makes you crazy for home cooked food!

Jon,

My childhood buddy in Ireland informed me of your accident when I was on holiday. His son, Sean, keeps up with your web site from Derry, Ireland. Yes, your ministry and Christian example is reaching the Irish youth too. Let me say that I am proud to consider you my brother and I ache for the sadness and pain you experience, but I Praise Jesus for blessing you with the opportunity to share in His Joy of being with your fellow soldiers in the name of Jesus! There is a relationship with Pain and Providence that leads to the Peace of Jesus. Continue to Celebrate the Good News the way you do!

Your brother in Jesus,
Sean

I am entering the Army Guard as a Chaplin Asst. I would like to find out first hand what a 56M does. I am an older guy with an age waiver. I feel I am being moved towards this MOS.

Mr Fisher

Remember me? You taught my 9th grade Bible class. I've been wondering how you are doing, and what all God has been doing in your life though being a chaplain. I was very temped to call you Jon, but I figured how can I call someone by their first name when I've written papers for them. I am currently at Gordon Collage, and trying to keep my sanity. Gordon is a 2 year local school, but once I complete core I plan on moving to a Bible collage and majoring in theology. I want to go into youth ministry, but I'm still not sure exactly were God will lead me. Well, I hope everything it going well for you. I would love to hear back from you.
