A Good Day // December 21, 2007

Yesterday was a good day. Sophia did awesome at her appointment! (up in weight, bilirubin count so low they took her off the biliblanket!) and we found out where we are spending the next couple years...

...right here at Fort Stewart, Georgia!!!

Thats it! No, massive move to the other side of the country, we don't have to sell our house (yet), Sophie gets to be raised in one place instead of having to be moved, Sara gets to live in the same house for more than a year, we're already established in the chapel community here, everybody knows us, we know everybody (mostly)...

The list could go on and on - suffice it to say - its GREAT news!!!

There was a tiny part of me that was a wee bit disappointed since I had kind of mentally written Ft Stewart off - I had checked out - it happens pretty much everywhere I go - if I'm leaving, I check out. However, I'm checking back in quickly and given all the positives (and the small matter of God's wanting us to do this!) I couldn't be happier!!!

Whew! What a week!! One more awesome thing happened this week that I'll tell you about tomorrow!!!

Needless to say we could not be more thrilled to have you staying close by!!! I do believe you delivered hubby a early Christmas gift when you told him the news!!!!

We really should try to make more of an effort to see each other more in the new year... I know that it will be even harder now with the little one.....

We are sooo very excited for you - and glad you are staying close!!!!
