I'd been gone all week to Mississippi for some UMT training. I had been home for about three hours when Sara started complaining about some really bad back pain which is not that unusual at this stage in the pregnancy. After she had been passing alot of fluid she called the hospital and they told her to come in and they would check her out. We went in about 0130 thinking they would send us right back home. No such luck! Sara was already at 5 centimeters!!
We were admitted and Sophia Anne Fisher was born at 0956!!
5 Pounds, 10 Ounces - 19 inches long!! Perfect healthy baby girl!
There is no feeling like this in the world...

Congratulations!!! The gift of life is still the most incredible gift I know. May God bless the three of you richly this Christmas!

Congratulations to you and your wife on the birth on your first child. Awesome.
Have appreciated reading your blog entries ever since leaving FT Jackson's CIMT and Phase I (CHOBC) in Jan/Feb 05...Just graduated CH-BOLC last Friday.
You have a great impact on others as well as a beautiful family. Looking forward to seeing where God "plants" you and yours.
